Importance rhinitis as a disease in the community
Allergic rhinitis (AR) is one of the most common allergic condition affecting approximately 400 million people worldwide. It can lead to lower quality of life, work productivity and school learning performance. On the other hand, medical cost multiplies. But not every rhinitis is an allergic rhinitis. The awareness about the rhinitis types and causes will help the community to seek a correct health professional. Total burden associated with this disease lies not only in impaired physical and social functioning but also in increasing the financial burden in the community.
